William "Mike" O'Neil

William Michael "Mike" O'Neil, 64, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Hennepin County Medical Center.

            He was born on July 18, 1955 in Janesville, Wisconsin to William D. and Esther Joan (Johnson) O'Neil.

            Mike graduated from Anoka High School in 1973. On September 14, 1974 he was united in marriage to Cindy Swanson in Ham Lake, MN.

            He worked as a material handler for Tennant Company for 43 years.  In his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting, golfing and playing horseshoes.

            Mike was preceded in death by his son James O'Neil.  He is survived by his wife Cindy of Cambridge, children Patrick (Vanessa) O'Neil of Andover, Krystie (Tony) LaPre of Danbury, WI, Carl (Jessica) O'Neil of Cambridge, 17 grandchildren, parents William and Joan O'Neil of Aitkin, brothers Steve O'Neil of Brainerd, Dan (Peggy) O'Neil of Garrison, sisters Roxy Shimek of Aitkin, Tammy (Sean) Grage of Rosemount, Mary O'Neil of Apple Valley, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4-6PM, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home.
