Sally Jane (Surdey) Gutzkow

Sally J. Gutzkow age 68 of Cambridge passed away peacefully on November 24, 2019

Sally was born in Mora, MN to Theodore and Lucille Surdey on August 25, 1951.  She attended Braham High School.  After graduating from high school, she married Earl E. Gutzkow  on January 10 , 1970 in Pine City, MN.  They made their home in the Cambridge area.  Sally enjoyed spending time with her family.  She cherished her many shopping excursions.

Sally was a long-time Isanti County employee.  She worked as and aide for Isanti County Family Services for 40+ years, she enjoyed her job and those she worked along side.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband Earl, mother Lucille Surdey and daughter Vicki Gutzkow.

She is survived by her father Theodore Surdey of Grasston,  daughter Bonnie (Kyle) Gutzkow-Bowman of Grasston and granddaughter Alexa (Matt) Nelson of Rush City.

Also survived by her brother Steve Surdey of Grasston and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial service 11:30  AM Tuesday December 3, 2019 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church 400 8th St. SE, Braham, MN.

Friends may gather from 4-7 PM Monday December 2, 2019 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home  311 S. Ashland St. Cambridge 763-689-2244, to express their condolences.  A second gathering will be held 1 hour prior to Sally’s service at the church on Tuesday.

Interment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, East Rush Lake.

Sally’s family would like to extend a special heart-felt Thank-You to B’s Homecare in Cambridge and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care that Sally received over the years.
