Raynold Fredrick Anderson, 65, of Braham, MN passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
Raynold was born March 10, 1960 to Marvin and LaVonne (Norberg) Anderson at Rush City Hospital. He grew up in rural Grandy, attending country school at Moody District #6 (closed in 1971) then to Cambridge School District #911 where he graduated from Cambridge High School in 1978. Raynold was active in the Hi-Lites 4-H Club, Stanchfield Baptist Boys Brigade and youth group, band and football.
Raynold lived his entire life in Isanti County. He worked with is mom and dad in the family businesses of Anderson KO Service Station and Towing and the Gulf Station which were located in the two Steve’s Tire locations are located now. They also had Anderson KO U-Haul, located on the north side of Cambridge in the old North Star Station which is now apartments. He enjoyed the towing business most of all and tinkering with cars.
On October 6, 1989, Raynold, along with JoDee Swanson, had son Ryan Ray Anderson, whom he was very proud of.
Raynold was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by son Ryan (Kristen) Anderson, grandsons Dash and Cruz all of Colorado, sisters Wendy (Clayton) Bengtson of Dalbo, Eloise (Curt) Nettleton of Stillwater, brother Robert (Darcy) Anderson of Cambridge, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the Mercy Hospital ICU Staff for their excellent, compassionate care of Raynold and the family. Raynold’s corneas were donated to the Lions Gift of Sight organization per his request.
A Celebration of Life Gathering 11AM - 1PM, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Grandy Community Center, 2749 County Road 6, Grandy, MN. Interment in Isanti Union Cemetery.
