Paul T. Edstrom

Paul Timothy Edstrom, 81, of Stanchfield passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Walker Methodist Levande in Cambridge.  Paul lived valiantly with Parkinson's for many years and is now free from that struggle.

Paul was born January 12, 1942 in Long Beach, New Jersey to Carl and Ruth (Nickelson) Edstrom the oldest of seven children.  He grew up in White Bear Lake, MN, was active in Boy Scouts and graduated from the University of Minnesota where he joined the ROTC.  Paul served in the Army both Active and Reserve.  He was an engineer at heart and loved to tinker.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Chip and Thomas Edstrom and sister Karen Frost.

Paul is survived by his wife Donna Edstrom, children; Anne Dziok, Sarah (Jim) Jones, James (Carla) Edstrom, Miriam (Chad) Botsford, Vincent (Ruthie) Schneider, Eric (Ngoc) Schneider, Dale Callaway, 15 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brothers Joel (Peggy) Edstrom, Bruce (Margaret) Edstrom, sister Nancy (Woody) Boyd, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Monday, July 17, 2023 at Cambridge Lutheran Church.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
