Patricia Ann (Maves) Brant

Patricia Ann Brant, 88 of Elk River, went to be with our heavenly father on February 18, 2022.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Suite Senior Living in Ramsey, MN.

Patricia was born on June 2, 1933 in Amherst, WI to Clarence & Laura Maves.  She attended Benilde-St. Margaret school.  She was united in marriage to Darrell Brant on August 4th, 1951 at St. Raphael’s Church in Crystal, MN.  Throughout the years, Patricia and her family lived in Hinckley, Minneapolis, Cannon Falls, Victoria and finally in Elk River, MN.

Pat was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, in Elk River.  She was a member of various organizations; Christian Mothers, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and was part of the Franciscan community.

She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking and anything that involved being with others.  Her main priority was raising her family with her husband Darrell by her side, which followed by grand-children and many great-grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children Michael (Cathy) Brant, Gregory (Julene) Brant, Suzanne (David) Brant-Johnson, David (Fran) Brant, Steve (Nancy) Brant, Jeffrey Brant, Cheryl (Jason) Volkers, Robert (Tammy) Brant and Patrick Brant (Brenda Isaacson). Pat had 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons arriving in March and April of 2022.

She is also survived by her special friend Margaret Ann Frye, sister-in-law Dorothy Brant and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by husband Darrell; parents, two infant brothers and daughter-in-law Joanne Brant.
