Patricia A. Whitney of Cambridge, MN, formerly of Champlin, MN, passed away on February 22, 2021, at her home in Cambridge at 66 years old.
Patricia was born in Minneapolis, MN, to George and Virginia O’Keefe on October 18, 1954. She attended school at Anoka Sr. High School. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota, where she completed her training as a medical technician. She worked as a laboratory technician at the Cambridge hospital for many years. She was an avid softball player in her younger days. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was actively involved in their lives. She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. In her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Shalom Thrift Shop in Cambridge.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia O’Keefe.
Patricia is survived by her children, Kristin Whitney, Kaitlin Whitney and spouse Eriq Edison and granddaughter Zoey Edison, Kelsey Whitney and her partner Brandon Hasser and grandchildren Michaela Whitney and Chase Hasser, and Kevin Whitney, and her brothers Mike, Dennis, Tim (Carla), and Kelly O’Keefe, and nephews Shawn and Casey O’Keefe, and her former husband, Douglas Whitney.
Visitation will be held at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2021, from noon to 1:00 PM, followed by a private service at 1:00 PM.
