Parker James Peterson was born May 17, 2002. He was the oldest child of Jamie Peterson and Kristy McCreary.
Parker was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church of Crown. He was a student at St. Francis High School and employed as a seasonal golf shop attendant at The Ponds Golf Course in St. Francis.
Parker had a passion for playing and watching sports. He played many sports including baseball, football, and basketball. He was currently playing basketball for the Andover Athletic Association. He played the game of his life on February 15th where he had seven 3’s in his first game and started the next game with three more. He enjoyed golfing and was going to try out for the SFHS golf team this spring. He spent a lot of time on the course with family and friends.
Like any faithful Packer fan he fulfilled his dream by watching the Packers at Lambeau Field on December 15, 2019. To make it sweeter for him they beat the Bears. He attended many Twins game with his first at 6 years old. Parker was an avid Gopher fan as well and was proud to tell people his Aunt and Godmother Lynda played for them. He loved going to Timberwolves games and was able to go with his best friend Ben on February 12, 2020.
He looked forward to every 4th of July at Uncle Steve and Aunt Shelly’s cabin with the Hemmelgarns. He missed his Wisconsin family and would go whenever the opportunity arose. He was able to go hunting in Thief River Falls with his Papa where he shot his first dear, an 8-point buck. The past 3 years he had several vacations with his families including Florida, Tennessee, and took a cruise out of California to Mexico just last month. He looked forward to hosting the annual Family Olympics.
We will never forget his beautiful smile, his caring eyes, his contagious laugh, and his sense of humor.
