C. Norma Ebner, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2025 at Guardian Angels by the Lake.
Norma was born July 9, 1930 in Waconia, MN to Louis & Eleanor (Kirsch) Sicheneder. She moved to Dayton, MN in 1940 where she attended elementary school. She graduated from Elk River High School in 1948. During her High School years she was a cheerleader and met her future husband, Ron Ebner. On February 9, 1949 they married in Dayton, MN and had 8 children.
Together she and Ron operated Ebner’s Live Bait for 25 years. Norma attended St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She was a member of the Christian Women’s Group and Mission Group. She helped prepare the chicken dinners of the church festivals for many years.
In the 1970’s they began taking vacations to St. Petersburg, Florida where they bought a mobile home and after retirement became 6 month snowbirds.
Norma loved growing flowers and watching the birds at her birdfeeders from the kitchen table. She loved fishing both in Minnesota and Florida. She liked traveling and went on several cruises. Norma liked to golf and in 2003 she got a hole-in-one on Tampa, Florida. She loved to watch the pros play and attended many PGA golf tournaments. While in Florida, she played shuffleboard, rode her 3-wheel bike and helped with the pancake breakfasts that the mobile home park put on.
Norma is survived by her husband of 76 years, Ronald; children, Susan Ebner, Joanne Rousseau, Stephen (Coleen) Ebner, Christine (Bob) Heuring, Theresa Moos, Mark Ebner, Carol Ebner and John Ebner; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Louis & Eleanor Sicheneder; brothers Harold & Lion Sicheneder and granddaughter Jennifer Rousseau.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on April 8, 2025 at 12:30 PM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 566 4th St NW Elk River, MN. Visitation 2 hours prior to Mass at church. Interment at St. Andrew’s parish cemetery after the service.
In lieu of flowers. Memorials are preferred to St. Andrew Catholic Church or the School.
