Mona Kay Zimmerman

Mona K. Zimmerman age 68 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19, 2023 in Cambridge.

Mona was born in Fergus Falls, MN to Jerome and Lois Zimmerman on February 23, 1955.  She attended school in Fergus Falls and after graduation, she attended Cambridge Community College.  Mona worked for more than 15 years at Cub Foods as a Florist and Cashier.  She received a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship for school and she beat cancer while graduating from college. 

She loved to spend time in her garden, nurturing her flowers and plants but her pride and joy was her French Bulldog, Floyd.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Lois Zimmerman; sister Brenda Zimmerman and her grandparents.

She is survived by her son Myles Zimmerman (Kelly Kost); granddaughters Jasmine Dahl, Brittany, Kayla and Emily Kost; great-grandchildren Everly, Rory, Olivia, Oliver and Nova and brother Scott Zimmerman as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4-7PM, Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home in Cambridge.
