Michael Anthony Mullens, 75, of Cambridge, MN passed away on January 23, 2025, at GracePointe Crossing.
He was born on September 13, 1949, in Little Rock, AR. to Claude and Jewel (Jones) Mullens. Michael grew up in Little Rock where he graduated from Central High School.
On April 4, 1988, he was united in marriage to Darice Rezabek in Little Rock. The couple shared a life filled with love and care, residing in Little Rock until they decided to move to Cambridge, MN, to be closer to Darice's family. Together, they made homes at Bridge Park Apartments and Sunrise Court, and after a brief period in Milaca, they returned to Cambridge where they resided at GracePointe Crossing.
Michael worked for many years at the Arkansas State Fair. When he moved to Cambridge, he worked at Peoples Café for several years. Michael's protective nature was always evident, and he worked tirelessly to provide for Darice, often surprising her with thoughtful gifts. Darice, in turn, dedicated her life to taking care of Michael, a testament to their unwavering support for one another. Michael and Darice made trips to New Orleans and Little Rock and attended Mental Health Conventions.
He had a fondness for cats, often wearing cat-themed shirt that showcased his love for his feline friends. He also enjoyed listening to and watching birds.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Lee Mullens; and sister-in-law, Nancy Carolyn (Ashcraft) Mullens.
Michael is survived by his wife Darice of Cambridge; nephews, David (Teresa) Mullens of Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia, Mark (Cheri) Mullens of Clanton, Alabama, along with other cousins and relatives, mostly in Arkansas, and a great niece and nephews in Birmingham, Alabama.
