Louise A. Anderson, 84, of Cambridge, MN passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Cambridge Medical Center.
Louise Ann (Abrahamson) Anderson was born in Wadena, Minnesota on January 16, 1941 to Carl and Mabel (Deyo) Abrahamson. Her parents were dairy farmers from Verndale. Louise was the second of four children. She enjoyed school and participated in music and extracurricular activities. Graduating in 1958 from Verndale high school.
Louise became a nursing student at Abbott Hospital School of Nursing graduating in 1961 as a Registered Nurse. She married her ‘Rock of Gibraltar’ Richard David ‘Dick’ Anderson June 8th 1962. They lived in Saint Paul and North Dakota. Many fun times were spent traveling to the North Shore and in Canada camping and fishing. They retired in Cambridge, Minnesota, near family.
Dick and Louise raised three beautiful girls: Michelle Louise (Dennis) Hinrichsen, Sherri Jo Alm and Sheryl Lyn (Audy) Ford. There were numerous gatherings with all 9 grandchildren! ‘Weezie’ and ‘Papa’ were always present.
Louise passed away at the age of 84, on July 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great nephew, Alex Subiaga. She is survived by her wonderful husband of 63 years, daughters, and grandchildren Megan (Nick) Stolarzyk, Anne Hinrichsen, Ross (Christelle) Alm, Lexi (Jesse) Johnson, Austen (Jessie) Alm, Noah Alm, Brittany Ford, Stephanie (Arnaldo) Sanchez, Cheyenne (Tom) Guy; nine great-grandchildren Laurel, Etta, Huck Stolarzyk: Alea, Calvin Johnson and August Alm: Mikey, Leland, Savannah Guy; siblings Luther (Kathie) Abrahamson, Lois (Dale) Captain and Lynn Abrahamson; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Service Noon, Friday, August 8, 2025 at North Isanti Baptist Church. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
