Lisa Gail Nemetz

Lisa Gail Nemetz, 56, of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2023 at her home in Cambridge.

Lisa was born in Eau Claire, WI. to Kenneth and Phyllis (Fisher) Mertes on April 1, 1967.  She graduated from Grand Rapids Senior High School in 1985.  She continued her education at Concorde Career institute, ICC.  

On June 29, 2001 she married Scott Nemetz in St. Paul, MN. She worked as a dental assistant for Smisek Family Dentistry for many years. 

She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, music, sports the arts, but most importantly her FAMILY!

Lisa was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Mertes; grandparents Kenneth and Connie Mertes, Frank and Leona Fisher.

Lisa is survived by her husband Scott Nemetz; children Isaac (Anna) Sobczak, Hannah (Andy Kill) Sobczak, Elijah Nemetz and Kaijah Nemetz; mother Phyllis Dreis; brother Ken (Sue) Mertes, Dan (Apryl) Mertes, Aaron Mertes; step mother Donna Mertes and sister Rhonda (Troy) Glass; father and mother-in-law Ted and Jody Nemetz.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers

Funeral Services 4PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 2:30 and will continue after the service until 6:00 PM at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home
