Linda Marie Dixon

Linda Marie Dixon, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Cambridge, MN, at the age of 76. Born on August 25, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN, to the late Harold Erving Kutzke and Marion Marie Kaul.

Linda's journey began in the heart of Minneapolis. She was the cherished sister to Harold (Sharon) Kutzke of Isanti and Loralie Severson of Little Falls. Her life was further enriched by the joy of her children, Barbara (Scott) Walker of Cambridge, William Drinkerd of Bloomington, and Shawn (Lindsey) Drinkerd of Lakeville. Linda was a proud grandmother to Catalina Gaston, Cody (Tina) Drinkerd of Watertown, SD, Cherokee Gaston of St. Cloud, Simon Sizemore of South St. Paul, Luke Drinkerd of Saganaw, MN, Baily (Cody) Christianson of Pine City, Joe Duran of Isanti, Tegan Drinkerd, and Aurora Drinkerd. Her legacy continued to grow with her great-grandchildren Skylar, Dakota, Serenity, Ellie, Mya, Bryar, Langston, Kinsley, Brayden, Gracelyn, Oakleigh, and the anticipated arrival of twins.

She spent many years behind the wheel for the Metro Transit Company, where she was not just a bus driver but a friend and confidant to many. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Ward, grandson Bradley Boone, brothers John and Paul Kutzke. Yet, through all of life's challenges, Linda remained a pillar of strength and a source of comfort to her family and friends.

Linda's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family, including her brother, sister, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched.

Linda's journey on earth has ended, but her light remains, shining brightly as an example of a life well-lived and a woman well-loved.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be 1-6PM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her daughter Barbara's home, 879 321st Avenue NW, Cambridge, MN.
