Kristin K. (Laase) Holm

Kristin Kaye Holm (Laase), 54, of Zimmerman, MN passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born June 8, 1970 in Cambridge, MN to David and Shanon (Wilcox) Laase.  Kristin grew up in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1988.  She went on to attend the University of Minnesota – Duluth and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and attended the University of St. Thomas where she received her MBA in finance.

Kristin enjoyed spending time with her family and relaxing with a good book, but one of her biggest passions was being a devoted Minnesota hockey fan, she loved her Wild and Bulldogs.  Her favorite team was any team her son Max was on.  Through her battles with cancer, she didn't miss many of his games.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Laase; grandparents John & ,Myrtle Laase and John & Florence Wilcox.

Kristin is survived by her husband, Dean Holm; son, Maxwell Holm; mother, Shanon Olson; stepfather, Dallas Olson; stepmother, Jean Laase; brother, Dan Laase (wife Nina); stepbrothers, David Olson (wife Sarah), Christopher Olson (wife Ann), Jason White (wife Kelly), Jeff White, along with brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Memorial Service 1PM, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Calvary Lutheran Church at Rush Point.  Visitation 2-5PM, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home in Cambridge and one hour prior to the service at the church. 

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Mayo Oncology or Monticello Cancer Center.
