Kenneth Glenn Ward

Kenneth Glenn Ward, 79, of Ogilvie, MN formerly of Isanti, MN passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home.

   Glenn was born July 7, 1941 in Cambridge, MN to Kenneth and Kathryn (Ellingson) Ward. He grew up in Cambridge where he attended grade school and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1959.

   He was employed at Gillespie’s Auto in Cambridge, MN and also at Central Chevrolet in North Branch, MN working in the parts department. On June 17, 2005, Glenn married Karen J. Putz in Ogilvie.

   Glenn loved spending time at his cabin on Portage Lake in McGregor, MN.  Fishing and spending time with his family gave him joy.  Hunting, snowmobiling, racing, dancing, gas engines and yard sales were of his great interests.

   Glenn is survived by his wife Karen; 4 children Sharon (Frank) Haubrick, Susan (Mike) Dehkes, Michael Ward & James Ward; 3 grandchildren Ryan Ward, Alissa Wilcox, Brittany Ward; 4 great grandchildren Carter Ward, Elana Ward, Gage Wilcox, Natalee Wilcox; 2 sisters Dianne (Art) Guthrie, Kathi (Scott) Peppers, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

  The family of Kenneth Glenn Ward wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the many doctors, nurses, hospice team and especially, his best friend, Craig (Diane) Bjorklund.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4-8 PM, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home in Cambridge.  Interment will be in Gerdin Cemetery.
