Kenneth Peters Obituary

On February 5th, 2024, our beloved Kenneth P. Peters went home to be with our Lord.  He had been hospitalized for 10 days at United Hospital in St. Paul.  He was born September 12, 1943.

Our hearts are broken but we will always give thanks for every moment we had with him.  We take comfort in knowing he’s feeling more love than words can describe being with God. We can only imagine how happy our daughter Robin was to welcome her Dad home.

Ken wasn’t just my husband but also my best friend.  He gave and showed me so much love.  I will always hold that love in my heart and treasure all our happy memories.  He was the kindest most loving, patient and forgiving man I’ve ever known.  Our family was so blessed to have him in our lives all these years.

Ken always loved being silly with the kids.  He loved being out in nature, going to our cabin, camping, fishing and hunting.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed his life and family so very much. It was rare we ever went more than 10 minutes each morning without sharing a laugh.  We had so many great adventures and we will always treasure these special memories and his love.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents John and Elizabeth Peters; his daughter Robin Peters and grandson Jacob Peters; sisters Betty Peka, Mary Pfaff; brothers Frank Peters and Lenny Peters.

Ken is survived by his loving wife Leann Peters; sons Keith Peters, Kirk( Angie) Peters; grandchildren Kim (Greg) Muellner, Santana Peters and Anthony Peters; great-grandchildren Emily, Aden, and Austin; brother Bill Peters and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.

His memory will live forever in our hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him.

We will celebrate Ken’s life on Saturday February 24 at 11 AM at Karmel Covenant Church 5799 Cty Rd 6 Princeton, MN.

Friends may gather 1 hour prior to service at the church on Saturday

Interment will be at Karmel Covenant Church Cemetery.

Ken’s family would prefer memorials due to severe family allergies to fresh flowers.
