Katherine (Kathy) Edith Bardone, embarked on her final adventure on December 21, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on January 9, 1946, in Oakland, California, to John and Juanita Fabiano.
Kathy graduated from Richmond High School, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, John Bardone, in 1962.
Kathy was deeply passionate about her career at Rite Aid, where she worked for more than 15 years as both a pharmacy technician and front-end manager. Known for her warm smile and caring nature, she had a special way of brightening the day of everyone she encountered.
Outside of work, Kathy found joy in gardening and painting ceramics. An avid gardener, she loved sharing her knowledge with anyone who showed interest. She also enjoyed canning and was especially known for her delicious peach jam and her unforgettable spaghetti sauce.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kathy’s family was her greatest pride and joy. She is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Jeff) Anderson of Stanchfield, Minnesota, and her son, David Bardone of Orville, California; her grandchildren, Clayton (Kelsey) Anderson, Morgan Anderson, Cecily Bardone, and Kyle Bardone; and her great-granddaughters, Madelynn and Evelyn Anderson, who will forever cherish memories of her heartfelt hugs and her spirited, spitfire personality.
As we bid farewell to Kathy, we remember a woman whose spirit was as bright and sunny as her beloved California, and whose love and legacy will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home.
