Julia Coleman Obituary
Julia Elizabeth Coleman (nee Larkin) age 91 of Springvale Township, MN., passed away peacefully at Ecumen North Branch on July 25, 2025.
Julia was born in St. Louis Park, MN to James Larkin and Margaret Reichert Larkin on April 3, 1934. Shortly before graduating from Cambridge High School, Julia married Richard Louis Coleman on May 17, 1952, before he entered the military.
Upon Richards’ return from his military service, they settled in Ramsey, MN. Together, they raised 3 children. Julia worked numerous odd jobs while tending to her children, but remained a steadfast homemaker.
Julia had many hobbies to keep her busy. She excelled doing needle work, travelling with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards and keeping up with current events and visiting Hinkley, MN
She was known to bring joy and happiness to all of her family, friends and acquaintances that took the time to visit with her.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband Richard Louis Coleman, parents James & Margaret Larkin, daughter Patti Coleman, sisters Evelyn Dudgeon, Josephine Zieske and Janice Swanson; brothers Jerome and Vernon “Pete” Larkin.
She is survived by her children Randall Coleman and his significant other Linda Jo Mealey and Bruce Coleman. Grandchildren; Staci (Mark) Bergloff, Great-grandchildren Dillon, Abigail and Ethan Bergloff
