Judith M. “Judy” Norberg, age 81, of Cambridge, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at GracePointe Crossing.
Judy was born on November 26, 1944, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and grew up in Cambridge. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1962.
On May 4, 1963, she married Harold Norberg at North Isanti Baptist Church, and together they made their home in Cambridge, where they raised their four boys and built a family filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
Judy spent much of her life giving to others in quiet and meaningful ways. She volunteered at the local food shelf and was always willing to lend a helping hand where it was needed. She worked at Nyberg Clothing and later at Green Barn Garden Center, where she retired after 30 years of dedicated service. After Harry passed away, Judy lived with her son Mark and later with her sister Barb, where she continued to be surrounded by family and care.
She was an avid gardener and sewer who found joy in caring for her yard and working with her hands. She spent countless hours making clothing, children’s costumes, outfits, and wedding dresses, each piece reflecting her patience, skill, and love of detail. She was also gifted in decorating for the holidays, creating photo albums, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Her creativity was matched by her thoughtful nature, and she had a special way of making ordinary moments feel meaningful.
Those who knew Judy will remember her as kind, thoughtful, and creative. She had a quiet strength and a generous heart, and she cared deeply for her family and for the people fortunate enough to know her. Her love was expressed through the many things she made, the time she gave, and the steady presence she offered throughout her life. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, craftsmanship, and compassion that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit touched many lives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harry Norberg.
She is survived by her four sons, Roger (Debbie) Norberg of Clearwater, Minnesota, Mark Norberg of Cambridge, Steve Norberg of Mora, and Brad (Tena) Norberg of East Bethel. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Jessie (Jonathan) Braswell, Ashley Norberg, Rachel Norberg (Justin Seiberlich), Dustin Norberg, and Ryan Norberg, along with four great-grandchildren, Liam, Michael, Noah, and Oaklin Seiberlich, sister, Barb Prescott of Princeton, her special friend, Tom Stahnke, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Memorial Service 1PM, Friday, April 10, 2026 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in North Isanti Baptist Cemetery.
