Jill R. Baldwin

Jill Renee Baldwin, 55, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Isanti, MN, on May 23, 2025.       

Born on March 8, 1970, in Fridley, MN, to John and Sharon (Larson) Baldwin. 

Jill's early education began at Sunnyside Elementary in New Brighton before moving to Rogers. She was a 1988 graduate of Elk River High School. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from North Hennepin Community College as a Registered Nurse. While attending school, Jill worked at Twin City West Truck Stop, balancing her studies and work.

She began her nursing career at Unity Hospital, where she delighted in working in the mom and baby unit. Jill's work ethic and dedication to her profession were evident as she worked mostly overnight shifts at Cambridge and Maple Grove Hospitals.

Jill's love for animals was constant throughout her life. As a young girl in Rogers, she participated in 4-H programs, winning competitions from sewing to dog obedience. She had a special bond with her horses and dogs. Her rescue dog, Mojo, was her loyal companion for 14 years. 

At the time of her passing, Jill was employed at the Cambridge Medical Center, where she was respected for her hard work and compassion for the patients.            

Jill is survived by her parents, John & Sharon Baldwin of Princeton; her sister, Lori Baldwin of St. Paul and her children; Cody Baldwin and Helen Stanton; sister Patricia (Jerry) Spencer of Princeton and their children, Chelsea Spencer, Ivy (Ron) Grieger, Graeham, Raven, Harrison, and Eaen Spencer; aunts & uncles Ken (Diane) Larson, Kathy Kranz, Dawn (Irving) Kroska, and many cousins; other relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Her gentle soul and compassionate heart will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Private Graveside Service at Cambridge Union Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
