Gloria Fay Rosen, 94, of Cambridge, MN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2024 at GracePointe Crossing.
She was born July 13, 1930 in Dalbo, Minnesota to Albert Sr. and Agnes (Anderson) Lundeen. Gloria grew up helping out on the home farm in Dalbo. She attended Dalbo Country School and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1948.
On November 11, 1950 she was united in marriage to Melvin Rosen and together they shared a lifetime of love and devotion. They made their home in rural Cambridge. Gloria began working at Isanti County at the age of 18 and would become County Recorder, a title she held for 44 years. In 1995, she retired from the county after 48 years. Later, she began her own business, Gloria Rosen Abstract Company, which she operated alongside Gayle Bostrom until 2005. She and Melvin enjoyed their retirement years at home together. Sadly, Melvin passed away in April 2014. Gloria remained at her home until just recently when she had a short stay at GracePointe Crossing.
Gloria was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church of Weber. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Melvin; sister, Annette Bellin and sister-in-law Marilyn Lundeen.
Gloria is survived by her cherished godsons Gus and wife Jenny Fredrickson of North Carolina, Jake and wife Kelly Fredrickson of Cambridge; treasured grandchildren, Avery and Ava Fredrickson and Markus Fredrickson; beloved great grandson, Gunnar; brother, Albert Lundeen Jr. of Dalbo; nieces, Luanne (Greg) Browen, Linda (Keith) Fluth, Debbie (Bob) Brown and Doreen (Ken) Ostrom; special friends; Kelly and Rick Hicks and daughters Danielle and Erika; Hope Hodson and daughters Rachel, Missy and Sara Anderson; granddaughter Alaura; other relatives and friends.
