Gerald A. Eggert, 89, of Cambridge, Minnesota passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Elim Home in Princeton. He was born March 10, 1934 in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota to Arnold and Elvera (Hedlund) Eggert. Preceded in death by wife Connie (Falk) and son-in-law, John Peterson. Survived by wife, Carol (Akerson), children, Pam Peterson, Sheila (Ken) Otto, Scott (Polly) Eggert, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren along with Carol's children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
Jerry was very passionate about life and everything he did. He loved the outdoors, wildlife, fishing, hunting, golf, the cabin, and Texas. He gave life 100% and was very grateful for every day. Jerry was a man of integrity and honesty that never wavered. He was respected by those in his profession as a salesman for Northwestern Drug, and those in his personal life. Most of all, he loved his family, and was always interested in each individual.
Jerry will be greatly missed by many. He placed his trust in Jesus Christ, and has now been called to his eternal home.
In keeping with Jerry's love of golf, a visitation will be held at Purple Hawk Country Club, 36300 Hwy. 65 N., Cambridge, Minnesota on Monday, February 19, 1:00-4:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
