It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the peaceful passing of Gary Allen Grams of Saint Francis, MN, on December 15, 2025 after a very brief battle with pancreatic cancer just one day after his 66th birthday.
He will be especially missed by his many nieces and nephew as the fun childless, generous, uncle who’d surprise them with the loudest toys (extra batteries included!) just to annoy their parents, and who in winter, enjoyed tossing these kiddos into snow banks and in the summer, into Northern Minnesota lakes.
Born in Saint Paul, MN on December 14,1959, and raised in Shoreview, MN, he graduated from F. B. Kellogg High School in 1978. He later attended Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, MN.
From his youth he has been an avid hunter, fishermen, camper, bowler, and motorcycle enthusiast. He worked as a young man at the MN State Fair for several summers and enjoyed being a bouncer at the Rose Drive-in. He also drove school bus until the mid 1980’s when he began employment with NSP working his way up to Xcel Energy Garage Foreman/Lead Fleet where he worked for 32 years before his retirement in 2018.
He was preceded in death by beloved wife of 19 years, Min Corrina (Langridge) Grams, and his parents, Loren Arthur Grams and Frances Carol Grams (McArtor), and Mother-In-Law, Sandy Langridge.
He is survived by his brother, Bruce Loren (Barbara) Grams of Wyoming, MN, his two sisters, Karen Kay Dahl of Brainerd, MN, Pamela Jean Grams of Lino Lakes, MN, as well as his beloved best friend and "bonus brother,” William Gerlach (Becky) of Saint Francis, MN.
An informal gathering of friends and family to celebrate Gary's life is planned Saturday, January 10th, 2026 10am to 12pm at Flaherty’s Arden Bowl, 1273 West County Road E, Arden Hills, MN 55112. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society in Gary’s name.
