Evergreen Evans Obituary

Evergreen Evans, 93, of Isanti, formerly of Oklahoma but resided in St. Paul most of her adult life, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her son's home.

She was born January 17, 1928 in Blaine County, Oklahoma to Samuel and Essie (Basketville) Whitney.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Maurice, daughter Patrice Howard, sisters Eunice and Rosie Whitney, brothers Thomas, Chester, Delbert, James, Foyce, George and Robert Whitney.

Evergreen is survived by her son Gregory and wife Charity Evans of Isanti, daughter Donna Evans of Oklahoma City, OK. four grandchildren Shola (John) Onyango, Kim Watkins, Dionna Evans, Nian Evans, three great grandchildren Maurice, Monica and Mercy Onyango, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Evergreen's life will be held at a later date.
