Evelyn J (Bonin) Toth

Evelyn June Toth, age 98n of Cambridge, Minnesota, and formerly Coon Rapids Minnesota, passed away peacefully at GracePointe Crossing on July 28, 2025. 

Evelyn was born June 4, 1927, at her home in Rice Lake Wisconsin.  She was the beloved daughter of Emil and Lottie Bonin, dear sister to Millie and brother Rueben.  Evelyn was the devoted wife to LeRoy for 67 years and loving mother to her two boys, Robert and David.  She was a cherished Grandmother to Gretchen Toth (Ackerman), Sheri Toth (Finney), Matthew Toth, Angela Toth (Miller) and Brian Toth, and proud great Grandmother to her 14 great grandchildren.

Evelyn will be remembered as loving mother, sweet neighbor and an unwavering follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Growing up in humble and turbulent times, she endured the great depression, losing her father at an early age and held many jobs to help support her mother including child care, housekeeping , factory work and even manufacturing aircraft parts for the war effort in the ‘40’s.  Despite the hard times, she was a generous and faithful care giver to many in need, young and old.

 After raising her own children, Evelyn taught nursery school children at Rosehill Alliance Church and later served as the Director.  She loved the opportunity to hold and care for many of her great grandchildren. She impacted many young lives and families over the years and will be greatly missed, yet we celebrate with her in a long-awaited reward of being in the presence of her Savior and many loved ones.

Funeral Services 11AM, Monday, August 4, 2025 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
