Eugene Joseph Lambert

Eugene “Gene” J. Lambert age 85 of Cambridge, formerly of  Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at his home on Spectacle Lake. A special place that he spent his entire life.

Preceded in death by his parents; Joseph & Stephanie, sister Lois McGuire.

He is survived by his son Greg (Sharri), grandchildren Jenna and Cali Lambert.

Also survived by his long-time significant other Mary Ann Becker ; sister Kathy Lambert; nieces Anne Kane and Mary (Tom) Sinn; nephews Joe (Julie) McGuire, Jim (Shari) McGuire and long-time friends; The Manke families of Cambridge, MN.

Gene was a 1st Lt in the USAF. He piloted F-100’s, F-84’s and F-86’s, while stationed in Europe.

He was the CEO and Owner of Lambert Equipment Company and Lambert Machinery Inc.

Gene loved travelling with Mary Ann to Florida, Spain and Mexico frequently.  He also enjoyed watching baseball and football games with friends and family.

He was well thought of by his many friends.  He kept in touch with his High School, Air Force and business friends regaling in stories and laughter.

Funeral leaving from Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home 311 S. Ashland St. Cambridge. 9:30 AM Saturday, Sept 12, 2020.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 207 Cty Rd 23 Isanti.

Visitation 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Hugo.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
