Edythe C. Weidendorf

Edythe Charlotta Weidendorf, 85, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her home.

            She was born November 10, 1934 in Wyoming, Minnesota to Ernest and Elverna (Erickson) Bergerson.  Edythe grew up in Wyoming where she attended school.  After her schooling she worked as a nanny in White Bear Lake.

            On June 16, 1956 she was united in marriage to Herbert Weidendorf.  To this union four children were born: Daniel, Darwin, Douglas and Lisa.  They lived in Cottage Grove until 1970, then moved to their farm in North Branch township where they raised pigs and milk cows.

            Edythe liked to sew, bake and collect cow figurines.  She enjoyed being a mom and a housewife.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert in May 2014 and brother Ronald Bergerson.  Edythe is survived by her children Daniel Weidendorf of Cambridge, Darwin (Cora) Weidendorf of Rush City, Douglas (Kris) Weidendorf of Cambridge, Lisa (Kahled) Zoghbor of TX, seven grandchildren Zainab, Hanna and Asim Zoghbor of TX, Alan and Angeleah Weidendorf of Rush City, Kayleigh and Lindsey Weidendorf of Cambridge, two great grandchildren, sister Audrey Farstad of Las Vegas, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A Private Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at Wyoming United Methodist Cemetery.
