Earl Frederick Tooker passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on April 27, 2025, at the age of 86, in Cambridge, Minnesota.
Earl was born on February 10, 1939, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Emmett and Lucile (Thoman) Tooker.
He graduated from North Branch High School in 1957. He went on to work jobs in both construction and retail before he became a local business owner.
After Earl retired in 2005 one of his greatest pleasures was tending to his yard and nurturing his flower gardens. The gardens he created were a testament to his patience and attention to detail, and they provided a tranquil haven not only for Earl but also for his family and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by both of his parents, son Kip Tooker, brothers George and Steven Tooker, and sister Mary Tooker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Tooker, who stood by his side through the many seasons of life, sharing in the joys and challenges that came their way. He is also survived by his sons Rick Tooker of Cambridge, Darcy Tooker of Everett, WA, Brandon Murphy of Cambridge, and Daniel (Amy) Murphy of Cambridge; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Jan Schubich of Minneapolis and many other relatives and friends.
In honoring Earl Frederick Tooker, we acknowledge the end of an era and the passing of a truly remarkable man.
