Declan Hayes Prill

Declan Hayes Prill, also known as De-Clan, Deckerlan, Spud, Little Man, D, and Momma’s Boy. Declan was born at 33 weeks, 5 days at St. John’s on November 12, 2025. Declan met Jesus on May 11th, 2026. Declan wasn’t just a light but a beacon to all that have come in contact with him. Declan is known for his overly contagious smile, and his personality. Declan is loved by not many, but all who came in contact with him. Declan spent almost every day outside doing something, whether it be Checking trail cams, watching mom with the horses, petting the horses himself, watching other kids play, witnessing the animals run, and during all of that? He was either laughing or smiling. Declan was a blessing in disguise, he brought old friendships back in, family members together, but most of all he opened everyone’s eyes to our generous Savior. Declan is now sharing the golden throne with our Savior. Heaven is the place of no hurt, sorrow, or pain.  Heaven is a blessing. Here on earth is evil. Declan was lucky to have never fought over his spot in Heaven. Declan was sent here for a purpose, to give us a taste of what our Savior is like, He was sin free, as is our Savior. We Pray Declan ran to the Lord SO happy to see him, we now hold close to our hearts the memories, the laughs, the smiles, the poopy diapers but most of all… We hold close to our hearts that we got 6 BEAUTIFUL months with that sweet baby boy.  Matthew 19:14 ~ “Jesus Said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

He is survived by his parents Teya Prill and Jesse Eklund, grandparents Alison and John Prill, Jen & Brian Eklund, great grandparents Doris Delesdernier, Judy and Lonnie Anderson, Doug and Vicki Eklund all of Braham, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service 12:00, Monday, May 18, 2026 at Access Church in North Branch.  Visitation begins at 11AM at the church.
