David R. Blosberg, 86, of Cambridge, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Cambridge Medical Center.
Born on September 21, 1939, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Ole and Ruth (Hawkinson) Blosberg, David grew up embracing life's simple joys and the excitement of a great find.
Known to family and friends as a natural "wheeler and dealer," David had a lifelong passion for cars - especially the fancy ones. He had a keen eye for quality vehicles and delighted in sharing them with others, often selling a beauty at a fair price to someone lucky enough to cross his path. His love of automobiles naturally led to his career managing parking ramps, where he combined his expertise with a steady hand. Motorcycles brought him equal joy; some of his happiest times were spent on afternoon rides with his beloved wife, Lorna, frequently stopping at a casino along the way.
After retiring, David settled into a cherished routine that reflected his warm, community-oriented spirit. Mornings often found friends and relatives gathering at his and Lorna's home for coffee and conversation. This lively group became fondly known as the "Coffee Club," where topics ranged far and wide but inevitably circled back to fond memories of growing up in Cambridge.
David also enjoyed keeping a close watch on the stock market in the afternoons, always with an interest in finance and the day's market moves. Above all, he will be remembered for his quick humor, easygoing conversations, and genuine kindness that made everyone feel welcome.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Ruth Blosberg; and his brothers, Gerald (Joyce) Blosberg and Dennis (Viola) Blosberg.
He is survived by his wife, Lorna, of Cambridge; his brother, Kenneth (Marilyn) Blosberg, of Cambridge; nine special nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of cousins and dear friends.
He “rode” off to the “Spirit in the sky” on March 10, 2026
