Obituary

Daniel James Longtin, 71, of North Branch died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at his home.

He was born August 2, 1951 to Eugene and Lucille (Remus) Longtin. Dan grew up in Scandia, Minnesota with his family and attended school in Forest Lake.

He worked many years at International Paper in Arden Hills, retiring from there in 2011 because if his health. He has been residing in North Branch since 1995 when he purchased his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Strand and Jane Longtin.  

Dan is survived by his children Martin (Rini) Longtin of East Bethel, Michelle Wachsmuth of Cambridge, Jaime Yurich of Cambridge, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers Joe (Mona) Longtin, Edward Longtin of North Branch, Robert (Donna) Longtin, Thomas (Crystal) Longtin of WI, David (Joanne) Longtin of Osceola, WI, Peter (Monica) Longtin of TX, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7PM, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home.
