Christopher David Turnock

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Christopher David Turnock, who departed this life on December 24, 2025, at home. Chris was born on September 23, 1974,  and lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. Throughout his life, Chris touched the hearts of many with his warmth, compassion, creativity, and his special, quirky sense of humor.

He was a ’93 graduate of Cambridge High School and ’99 AAS graduate in Multimedia and Computer Graphics from the Art Institute International of Minneapolis, MN.

Chris is survived by his father, Darrell Turnock, and his stepmother, Susan of North Oaks, MN; his mother, Cathleen Conrad and stepfather, David Bosanko of Isanti, MN; his sister, Alicia (Jacob)  Bodrick of Tulare, CA; his brothers, Rex (Nancy) Lamson, St. Augusta, MN, and, Noel Turnock of Princeton, MN

He will be remembered for his passion for fishing, snowboarding, all things music, especially his garage band “Back from Dying.”  He struggled with multiple health issues and managed to overcome them with his wry wit and humor.  He was a dedicated friend to those close to him, and his presence and laughter will be missed by many who knew him.

A celebration of Chris' life will be held Saturday, January 17, 2025 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home in Cambridge. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at Fridsborg Cemetery at a later date.   Chris will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
