On March 6, at the age of 82, Chuck Pearce took off his “earth suit” (his physical body) and joined Jesus in Paradise (Luke 23:43). Chuck spent 22 years in the military, spending 12 years in Alaska and one tour of duty in Vietnam. In Vietnam, Chuck dedicated his life to Jesus and spent the rest of his days as an avid Christ follower. After retiring from the military, Chuck taught science at Cambridge Christian School and later served as the biology lab manager at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Chuck and his wife sang at church and local senior living facilities for many years.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Sherry, and son, Stephen.
Pie was always Chuck’s favorite dessert. Therefore, in honor of Chuck, anyone wishing to share remembrances of Chuck’s life is invited to an open house/pie social at his church, Just Passin Thru-IHS, from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20. The church is at 1001 1st Avenue (aka MN-95), Suite 100, in Cambridge. (The big white building between McDonald’s and Highway 65)
A private studio will be set up for guests to share short stories or memories of Chuck. All guests are encouraged to plan to do so, either individually or in a small group. This video will be something the family can treasure. Guests are also invited to bring their favorite pie to share, if they wish.
