Bill Lee Schwartz, 64, of Stanchfield, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 22, 1961, in California, Bill made Stanchfield his home for his last few years, living a life marked by hard work, dedication to his career as a commercial painter, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Bill's early years included Cambridge/Isanti Little League baseball in the summer and snowmobiling in winter. After graduating from High School, Bill built a career in the painting industry, eventually working up to foreman for Steinbrecher Painting. Bill was a proud member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
Bill devoted himself to improving his home until the cancer made that impossible to complete. He was creating a haven that brought him joy.
Bill was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his strength in facing life’s challenges, and his love of simple pleasures - fishing, gardening, Sunday football, and pub nights with friends. He was a loving brother and caring neighbor, often sharing garden bounty and his trade skills.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Cathleen Conrad, Isanti, MN; Pat Coleman, Phelan, CA; brothers, David Conrad, Spanaway, WA; John Schwartz, Las Vegas, NV; and Jack Schwartz, Phelan, CA.
All who knew Bill will miss his fun-loving demeanor and his strength in battling life's trials.
Rest in peace, Bill.
