Beverly Jane Larson, 92, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus her Saviour on April 21, 2026 at The Legacy of Farmington, MN.
Beverly was born on April 28, 1933 to her parents Guy and Edna Jacques at their family home in Quamba, MN, the third of five children. She attended grade school in Quamba and went on to attend high school in Mora, MN. After her father passed away prematurely, she, at 17 years of age, moved with her mother and 4 siblings to Cambridge where she graduated from high school in 1951.
Following graduation, Beverly began to venture out and moved along with her older sister, Gloria, to Loring Park where they rented a tiny apartment together. From there, she took a bus to downtown Minneapolis where she was employed as a bank teller. When she later returned to Cambridge she worked at Cambridge State Bank and it was during that time she met the love of her life, Robert Larson, while out with friends.
Robert and Beverly were married on June 4th, 1955 at Cambridge Lutheran Church and were happily married for 66 years until Bob’s passing in July 2021. Together they lovingly raised two daughters, Michele and Julie, in the home that Bob built for them in 1959. Bev loved to decorate her home for the seasons, creating beautiful flower arrangements and a homey and inviting atmosphere. Their home was filled with love, laughter and warm hospitality as she loved to host family and friends on many occasions such asholiday celebrations, family get togethers, card parties and ladies’ circle. She always extended a warm and friendly welcome to whomever came to the door with a smile and cup of coffee.
Beverly and Robert were faithful members at Cambridge Lutheran Church throughout their entire marriage, and modelled their faith and family values to their daughters. Bev was involved with ladies' circle, Loaves and Fishes, and serving the community. She and Bob were also blessed to have both their daughters' weddings also celebrated there.
Beverly deeply valued her friendships and made many delightful memories, spending time together visiting friends over coffee and lunch dates, playing rousing games of dominoes and making various crafts. She most delighted in occasional family visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly was a wonderfully devoted wife, loving mother to her children and tenderhearted grandmother and great-grandmother. Family was her most precious achievement. She is survived by daughter Michele Horak (Dennis) of Farmington, MN, granddaughter Allison of Farmington, MN; daughter Julie Trandahl (Ted) of Tulsa, OK, granddaughter Amber Albergaria (Guilherme) of Tulsa, OK, great-grandchildren Samuel (19), Jonas (17), Hannah (13); grandson Josiah Trandahl (Madelyn) of Gallatin, TN, great-grandchildren Jude (11), Dylan (8), Parker (4); grandson Taylor Trandahl (Ansley) of Nashville, TN, great-grandchildren Scarlett (deceased), Baby boy T (arriving May 2026); grandson Mack Trandahl (Ana) of Arlington, VA, great-grandson Elijah James (9 months).
Beverly’s surviving family and friends will deeply miss her presence and the joy she brought to all who knew her. May they continue in her memory to affectionately celebrate and fondly embrace the lasting legacy she leaves.
