Barton H. Walker

Barton H. "Bart" Walker, age 58, of Isanti, MN, passed away surrounded by his family on November 28, 2024, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital. Born on February 11, 1966, in Minneapolis, Bart was a man whose warmth and humor brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew him.  Bart was a proud graduate of Faribault High School, after which he furthered his education at Hennepin Technical College. His dedication to his career was evident through his 40 years of service at Invest Cast Inc., where he not only excelled in his work but also formed life-long  friendships.

Bart's life was built on love, friendships, family and the moments that brought them together. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Michelle; children, Kirsten Jennissen (Jesse) of Cambridge, Nicholas Andrews (Trisha) of Ham Lake, Ashley Fowler (Joe) of Cambridge, and Autumn MacRunnel (Shaun) of Duluth; 12 grandchildren, Breyza, Brynn, Grady, Peyton, Pyper, Fiona, Hollis, Jackson, Theodore, William, Charles, and  Amelia; mother, Carolyn Walker-Richards, sister Tracy (Kyle) Benson, brother Tony Walker all of Colorado, and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry; grandparents Harry and Verna Walker and Fay and Marcella Bahe.
Bart's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. An avid sports fan, he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, working on cars, or hunting. Above all, his heart was most full when he was with his grandchildren. Whether he was teaching them how to play a game or going to a car show, these moments were the ones he treasured most.
Bart was a man of great character and compassionate spirit, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Memorial Service 1PM, Friday, December 6, 2024 at Access Church in North Branch.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.  Private interment at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.
