Barbara Jane Bohman (Jani Coffin)
Jani went to Heaven on Sunday, January 14, 2024 after a long hard battle with COPD. Her strength over the last two years was exceptional. She fought so hard, leaving her family weighed heavy on her heart.
Jani was born June 29, 1963 in Shreveport LA to Al and Shirley Coffin. She was #3 of the Four “Coffin Girls”. She lived in Louisiana until 1970 when the family moved to Bradford MN. Jani attended school in Isanti and then at Cambridge High School. Jani had many friends in school and you could always find her with Lori and Billie up to shenanigans.
Jani loved to fish. Her happy place was on a boat with a fishing rod in her hand. She taught her children and grandchildren to spit on their hook just like her grandma taught her. Jani always caught the most fish. Jani enjoyed traveling to Louisiana to visit family not to forget the girl trips there and the tradition of stopping at Cracker Barrel for lunch. Jani cherished her trips to Las Vegas with Chelsie. She even made a trip to the east coast to put her feet in the ocean. Jani was always ready to go to the casino. She had the luck of her mom. Most recently she enjoyed going to the BCMX Motocross track watching Dave, Donny and Taylor race their bikes.
Jani was so proud of her family. Rick and Jani raised 3 amazing children and she will always be their angel watching over them.
She will be forever in the hearts of so many. She is survived by her children, Christopher (Christina) Campbell, Joshua Bohman and Chelsie (Donny) Zak. Her precious Grandchildren; Kaity Jane, Taylor, Gabe, Tessa, Ethan, her sunshine Georgia, Hailey, Elizabeth and Paige. “Grammy loves them as big as the sky and even bigger.” Sisters; Patti (Randy) Armstrong, Wendi (Ray) Shrock and Brother-in-law, Doug Kahle. Her nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by Dave Jendro and his children Scott (Cherie), Mitch (Savannah) along with the grandbabies.
Jani will be deeply missed and always hold a special place in Rick Bohman’s heart.
Jani was preceded in heaven by her parents, Al and Shirley and her dear sister Lori.
She worries about her family, please keep them in your prayers.
A special thank you to Moment’s Hospice and the care she received from Jen, Brittany and Amy.
