Ardeth J. (Fredman) Predweshny

Ardeth JoAnn Predweshny of East Bethel, died on Wed, Aug 28, 2024, at Cedar Creek Senior Living at the age of 82.

She was born July 21, 1942, to Joseph and Anna Fredman in Bertha, MN. Her family attended the Rose City Free Church where she and her sister Carol would sing as young girls, while her older sister Jeanne played the piano. Ardie graduated from South High School in Mpls. in 1960. It was in Mpls. where she met William Predweshny, whom she married on Dec 15, 1961, at Central Free Church. By 1964 they had two daughters, Tasia and Lisa. Ardie was a homemaker, and then worked as a Cashier after the girls started school. Later, she started her own Day Care business, and her daughter Tasia eventually joined her. Ardie had a knack for technology and numbers, so when she bought her first Apple computer, she learned about installing hardware and software, and eventually started her own bookkeeping business.

Both she and Bill were members of First Free Church in So. Mpls. where the family attended church. Ardie participated in Sunday School, the Busing Ministry, Choir, and many other activities like directing a few kid’s musicals. She especially enjoyed chaperoning the girls’ school events and trips.

Ardie learned the art of Ukrainian Egg Decorating (Pysanky) where she became very skilled and eventually taught others including her grandkids. She enjoyed sewing fun Halloween costumes for her grandkids and taking them on outings.

Ardie is preceded in death by her parents, her father/mother-in-law, Andrew and Motra Predvichny, her son-in-law Timothy Gross, her sister Jeanne Woods.

Ardie is survived by her husband Bill Predweshny, 2 daughters Tasia Gross and Lisa Predweshny, 3 grandchildren Kile (Michelle) Gross, Kori (Clifford) Schrader, Joe (Liisa Rudy) Predweshny, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister Carol (John) Erickson.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sat, Sept 21st from 4:30-7:30 PM at Cedar Creek Senior Living, 19131 Taylor St NE, East Bethel, MN. Please join the family in celebrating Ardie’s life. Food provided.
