On November 10, 1962 he was united in marriage to Janice Rud at North Isanti Baptist Church.  Adrian and Jan moved to Aitkin where Adrian served his first church, Glory Baptist Church at which time their first son Ken was born.  They lived there until 1965 when they moved to Houston, MN to serve at Houston Baptist Church, at which time their second son Greg was born.  Adrian received the call in 1970 to Henning, MN and pastored the Henning Baptist Church.  In 1980 he received the call to Elk River Baptist Church and served there until his retirement from the ministry in 1993.  He went on to serve as chaplain at Walker Plaza in Anoka for a number of years.  In 2005, Adrian and Jan returned to Cambridge and made their home in Pine Village, and more recently GracePointe Crossing.

He was an active member of North Isanti Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School, was active in VBS and Men’s Bible Study.  Adrian enjoyed woodworking and carpentry, going on road trips, being outdoors, camping throughout the U.S. and even turned BGC Conferences into family camping trips.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Joanne Wright.  Adrian is survived by his wife Jan, sons Ken (Kit) Sundberg of Cottage Grove, Greg (Jill) Sundberg of Stillwater, five grandchildren Christopher (Alex) Sundberg, Brandon Sundberg, Alicia Sundberg, Sarah (Hunter) Christian, Suzy (Josh) Godbout; sister Elaine (Jim) Nelson; brothers-in-law Don Wright and Donovan Rud; sister-in-law Jean (Robert) Erickson, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
