Robert Willard Ramberg, 55, of Cambridge, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his home.
Bob was born in Cambridge on November 19, 1963 to Willard and Bonnie (Johnson) Ramberg. He attended Cambridge Schools through 9th grade when the family moved to Phoenix, AZ. The family then returned to Minnesota and he graduated from North Branch High School in 1982. He started Edgewood Machine in 1988, now located in Harris, MN alongside his father and brother where he remained a part owner for over 30 years. He married Samantha Tracy on April 17th, 1998 in Cambridge where they made a Christ-centered and loving home to raise their three children.
He was a Godly man with a deep faith and love for Christ. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Cambridge. He was a kind and gentle person who treasured his family and friends. As a husband and adoptive father to Nick, Anna and Grace, he lived a life of service and love; an incredible example for all that knew him. There was never a dull moment when Bob was in the room. He had a gift of bringing humor into every situation. His infectious laugh and tender heart often made him the “go-to” family member. He was loved by all who knew him and though we grieve, solace can be taken knowing that Bob is with his Heavenly Father; looking for every opportunity to bring in a mix of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father Willard Ramberg and sister Jill Ramberg Brockopp.
He is survived by his wife Samantha, children Nick, Anna and Grace Ramberg, mother Bonnie Ramberg, siblings Kim (Brent) Harcey, Gary (Hilda) Ramberg all of Cambridge, Chris (Noriko) Ramberg of Woodbury, parents-in-law Linda (Art) Rogian of Cambridge, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Cambridge with Rev. Jared Gustafson officiating. Visitation will be Monday 5-8 PM at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in North Isanti Baptist Cemetery.
