Rick L. Aldrich

Rickie Lee Aldrich, 64, of Elk River, formerly of Cambridge went to heaven surrounded by family on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

            Rick was born December 17, 1954 in Wadena, Minnesota to Orris and Consuella (Klucas) Aldrich.  He grew up in Verndale, Brooklyn Park and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1973.  He met Sue Schuman in 1977 and they were married on August 25, 1978.

            Rick finished his career early as a dental repair technician due to a disability.  In 2012 he retired from Patterson Dental after 32 years in the profession.

            Besides spending time with family and friends, Rick loved to hunt, fish, target practice, and go on family vacations, especially to Disney World.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law William Schuman, brothers-in-law John Schuman, Carmen Frarck, and Curt Carlson, sister-in-law Darlene Schuman, and nephew Zach Schuman.  Rick is survived by his wife of 41 years Sue Aldrich, son Lee (Inna) Aldrich, daughter Laura (Jason) Anthony, his beloved grandchildren Danik, Victor and Mark Aldrich, mother-in-law Sheila Schuman, and siblings, other family and friends.

            The family would like to thank Fairview Hospice of Princeton for their loving care.

Funeral Services will be held at 1PM, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Refuge of Hope Church, 16060 Crosstown Blvd. NW, Andover.  Visitation will begin at 11AM at the church on Saturday.
