Helen . Thomas

Helen Parker Thomas age 77 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at her home on October 26, 2019.  Helen was born on August 30, 1942 to Robert & Ruth Parker in Fergus Falls, MN.  She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1960.

She married Thomas A. Thomas July 21, 1962 and lived in the Mac Groveland area of St Paul.  Helen attended the University of Minnesota, receiving a Home Economics degree.  Later she completed her Masters in Psychology from the University of St. Mary’s

Helen had many varied careers in her life-time.  She worked as a librarian,  Grandview Christian Home Activities Director, Mill Ridge Commons Manager, Pillsbury Test Kitchen,  Hennepin County Courts system, College Professor at Century College and Anoka-Ramsey Community College.  She was involved in many capacities at her church, including mission trips.

Helen was preceded in death by her daughter Sheilah; parents Robert & Ruth Parker.

Survived by her husband Tom; sons Sean (Kristin) Thomas, Kyle (Kelli) Thomas and her six grandchildren; Nick, Courtney, Meghan, Michael, Allie and Erin; whom she was endlessly devoted to.

She is also survived by her brother and sister.
